flying vertebrate.

Based on material which is difficult to classify, but generally
considered to be non-dinosaurian.
Dakosaurus
A pseudosuchian reptile.Dasygnathoides
Dasygnathoides
Considered to be Ornithosuchus.
Dasygnathus
An ornithosuchid reptile (?= Dasygnathoides).
Doratodon
A pseudosuchid archosaur.
Dravidosaurus
A type of marine reptile called a plesiosaur, originally mistaken for
a
stegosaur.
Ephoenosaurus
Classification uncertain, but not considered a dinosaur.
Epicampodon
Some type of archosauromorph, the group of reptiles which gave rise
to
the archosaurs.
Eupodosaurus
A nothosaurid marine reptile
Galesaurus
Originally thought to be crocodylian, then dinosaurian, galesaurids
are
now classified as synapsids and mammal relatives.
Gobipteryx
A bird from Mongolia.
Gracilisuchus
A member of the pseudosuchians, an archosaur group that includes
crocodylians.
Griphornis
Now considered to be Archaeopteryx.
Griphosaurus
Now considered to be Archaeopteryx.

A pseudosuchian archosaur.

A pterosaur, or flying archosaurian reptile.
Hypselorhachis
A pseudosuchian archosaur.
Jurapteryx
A "dino-bird," thought by some to be the same as Archaeopteryx.
Kuszholia
A "dino-bird" from the Late Cretaceous, possibly flightless.
Lagosuchus
The "rabbit crocodile," a tiny, bipedal archosaurian reptile,
perhaps
similar to the ancestors of dinosaurs.
Laornis
An ancient North American bird.
Libycosaurus
An artiodactyl mammal, originally thought to be an iguanodont dinosaur.
Lisboasaurus
A mesosuchian crocodylian or crocodile relative, once thought to be
a
maniraptorian dinosaur.
Macelognathus
A pseudosuchian crocodile relative.
Macroscelosaurus
Based on material which is difficult to classify, but generally
considered to be non-dinosaurian. (Tanystropheus relative?)
Nuthetes
(One source says this is a dromaeosaurid mixed with armor from a
thyreophoran; another calls it a Megalosaurus relative. None calls it
non-dinosaurian.)
Nyasasaurus
Uncertain classification, but not considered a dinosaur.
Ornithosuchus
A highly-developed thecodont and possible dinosaur ancestor. (One source
calls this an ornithosuchid, one a pseudosuchian.)
