Name means: “Wannan lizard,” named for Southern Anhui
Pronounced: WAHN-NAHN-o-SAWR-us

Place: China
This tiny, two-legged plant-eater was a very primitive, flat-domed
member of the thick-skulled pachycephalosaur dinosaurs. Wannanosaurus
was named in 1977.
Wuerhosaurus
Taxon: Stegosauria Stegosauridae
Name means: “Wuerho lizard”
Pronounced: woo-UHR-huh-SAWR-us
Length: 15 – 20 ft (4.5 – 6 m)
Time: Early Cretaceous, 138 – 125 mya
Place: China
Wuerhosaurus is the latest-surviving member of the plate-backed stegosaurs
known so far. A four-legged plant-eater, it was named in 1973 for the
town of Wuerho in China.
